Hi there, I am Chef Trae A.E. Hockman born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and raised in Richmond, Virginia. My curiosity led me to the kitchen. Since, my joy for culinary arts has grown to a depth I would like to share.

The first crumb of joy I found is when I worked at the Fort Lee military base in Virginia guided by a master baker at the age of seventeen. I knew then the kitchen was my safe space. Soon after, I enrolled in school and majored in Hospitality Management at Virginia State and a culinary program following. Then I put boots to ground and spend time mentoring beneath various chefs, working on food trucks, with catering companies, and hospitality groups.

Now I am ready to begin the next phase of growth and put to use my years of experience that led me here. Allow me to bring Joy to your table.
